Saudi Aramco chief executive Amin Nasser said the world had lost more than 2.6 billion barrels of oil since the war began in February, nearly a month of normal global crude output, and that restocking would take up to 18 months at about 2.1 million barrels a day even if the strait reopened that day, Reuters reported via Dawn. Aramco reported a 44% rise in second-quarter net profit to $32.69bn on higher prices and rerouted exports. The figure is Aramco's own estimate.
