Kuwait's defence ministry said hostile drones targeted the passenger building of Kuwait International Airport on 3 June, causing heavy damage; one person was killed and 63 wounded, including passengers and workers, and India's embassy said the person killed was an Indian national, AP reported. The ministry said it destroyed over a dozen Iranian missiles and a similar number of drones. Kuwait briefly shut the airport, which had reopened two days earlier after a months-long closure, and expelled two Iranian diplomats. The IRGC acknowledged targeting US military facilities in the region but did not name Kuwait.
