An Israeli strike on an ambulance in Nabatieh al-Fawqa on 23 July injured two medics, and Lebanon's health ministry called it a 'flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws and norms', Al Jazeera reported. On 24 July the Israeli army attacked al-Mansouri and carried out a demolition blast in Majdal Zoun heard in Tyre, according to the National News Agency. Israel says its operations aim to stop Hezbollah attacks on northern Israel; the next round of Lebanese-Israeli talks was set for 4 August in Italy.
