Mohammad Bagherzadeh, head of the Iranian armed forces' missing persons committee, told Tasnim that Qatar should move detained Iranian pilots, held on water and in poor physical condition, to a hospital on land and asked the ICRC to send an air ambulance, Reuters reported via The Times of Israel. Qatar denied on 15 August that it was holding Iranian pilots, saying they had violated its airspace earlier in the year, and said it had offered to hand over one pilot's remains and invited an Iranian delegation. Iran first raised the claim on 15 August.
