Lebanon's health ministry said an Israeli drone attack in Hermel district near the Syrian border wounded six people, five of them Syrian nationals including two women, Al Jazeera reported; the National News Agency said a car was targeted. The Israeli military said it struck "a Syrian terrorist" operating "under the direction of the Iranian regime" who it said planned attacks on Israeli forces in southern Syria. The area had largely been spared strikes since the June ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
