US Central Command said its seventh consecutive night of strikes hit 'surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage and maritime capabilities' in Iran, Al Jazeera reported on 18 July. The chief executive of the Hormozgan Water and Wastewater Company told Tasnim that a seawater pumping station and a power transformer at the Bunji desalination plant in Jask were 'completely destroyed', cutting water to 20 villages; Iran said about 10,000 people were left without water. Iranian state media also showed damaged bridges and rail lines, including a bridge on the Roudan to Bandar Abbas road. Iran's health ministry said at least 50 people had been killed and more than 500 injured in US strikes since 6 July.
