Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV said Saudi aircraft carried out 32 airstrikes on Marib, Al-Jawf, Taiz and Hodeidah, and Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree later said there were 54 strikes in 12 hours; Saudi Arabia did not comment. Saudi, Pakistani and Iranian sources told Reuters that Pakistan relayed a Saudi warning to Tehran to restrain the Houthis, and Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said aggression on Saudi Arabia could activate its security arrangement with Turkey and Pakistan. An AFP tally from sources on each side put deaths in the Yemen fighting since 3 September at more than 500, mostly combatants.
