Confirmedon an admission by the acting party plus an independent origin: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

The EU adopted its sixth package of sanctions, banning imports of Russian seaborne crude oil after six months and petroleum products after eight, with a temporary exemption for pipeline oil to landlocked states. It also barred EU firms from insuring and financing the transport of Russian oil to third countries. The European Commission said the ban would cover about 90% of EU oil imports from Russia by the end of 2022.
