Ukrainian forces enter Kherson city after the Russian withdrawal; residents celebrate
Reportedon one origin only: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.
Ukrainian special forces entered Kherson city on 11 November as Russia said all its troops and equipment had crossed to the east bank of the Dnipro safely. Zelenskyy said the city was Ukrainian again and that sappers, rescuers and energy workers would follow, warning that Russian forces had left mines. In the days after, Ukrainian officials said investigators had found 63 bodies with signs of torture in liberated parts of Kherson oblast. Russia's withdrawal left the Dnipro as the southern front line.
