The Ukrainian monitoring group DeepState said on 11 August that Russian forces had pushed into several villages east of Dobropillia and that the contested zone now touched the Dobropillia-Kramatorsk highway, warning that Dobropillia could fall faster than Pokrovsk if the trend continued. Brigades in the area declined to comment and Ukrainian officials had not responded at the time. Dobropillia lies about 22 km north of Pokrovsk, and the advance threatened supply routes to the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors.
