Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree claimed an attack on Najran airport in southern Saudi Arabia and tied it to what he called Saudi drone violations of airspace over Saada and Hodeidah, FDD's Long War Journal reported from the group's statements. Saudi Arabia did not confirm it. Bloomberg reported the same day that Riyadh was pursuing talks with the Houthis through Oman to contain the escalation, which Riyadh denied, according to the same report.
