CENTCOM said at 03:30 GMT on 19 July it had completed strikes on coastal surveillance and air defence facilities, maritime capabilities and missile and drone storage sites, aimed at the IRGC forces that attacked US troops in Jordan, Al Jazeera reported. Iranian media reported explosions in Bandar Abbas and Sirik, at least six missiles hitting the outskirts of Qeshm Island per Tasnim, and US jets striking near Shadegan in Khuzestan; the IRGC said it destroyed a US MQ-9 drone over Ahvaz. Al Jazeera's Tehran correspondent said hospitals were being evacuated and school exams postponed. A ninth wave began at 23:00 GMT the same day and ended about three hours later, NBC News reported, citing CENTCOM.
