Confirmedon an admission by the acting party plus an independent origin: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

EASA issued Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) 2026-05 R2 on 30 September 2026, covering FIR Baghdad (ORBB), all altitudes and flight levels. Its first recommendation to EU and EASA-authorised operators reads: "Not operate within the airspace of Iraq, FIR Baghdad (ORBB), at all altitudes and flight levels". EASA gave its validity as until 16 November 2026, unless reviewed earlier. It replaced CZIB 2026-05 R1; EASA describes the change as: "The CZIB validity was extended until 16 November 2026. No changes were made to the content or recommendations". CZIBs are EASA recommendations to airlines; binding bans come from national authorities or EASA safety directives.
