EASA issued Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) 2022-01 R12 on 31 July 2025, covering all altitudes / flight levels of the following Flight Information Regions: FIR LVIV (UKLV), FIR KYIV (UKBV), UIR KYIV (UKBU), FIR DNIPROPETROVSK (UKDV), FIR SIMFEROPOL (UKFV), FIR ODESA (UKOV). Its first recommendation to EU and EASA-authorised operators reads: "Operators should not operate within the aforementioned airspace, including landing and departures from airports located in the affected airspace". EASA gave its validity as until 31 January 2026, unless reviewed earlier. It replaced CZIB 2022-01 R11 of 9 January 2025; EASA describes the change as: "The CZIB validity was extended until 31 January 2026. No changes to the content". CZIBs are EASA recommendations to airlines; binding bans come from national authorities or EASA safety directives.
