EASA issued Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) 2026-06 R2 on 30 September 2026, covering FIR Beirut (OLBB), all altitudes and flight levels. Its first recommendation to EU and EASA-authorised operators reads: "Not operate within the airspace of Lebanon at all altitudes and flight levels, except for operations to / from Beirut International Airport (BEY / OLBA) under the following conditions:". EASA gave its validity as until 16 November 2026, unless reviewed earlier. It replaced CZIB 2026-06 R1; EASA describes the change as: "The validity of the CZIB was extended until 16 November 2026. No changes to the content or recommendations have been made". CZIBs are EASA recommendations to airlines; binding bans come from national authorities or EASA safety directives.
