EASA issued Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) 2017-07 R20 on 30 September 2026, covering Airspace of Yemen, Sana'a Flight Information Region (FIR OYSC), all altitudes, except all routes located in the maritime part of FIR SANAA (OYSC) east of route B400. Its first recommendation to EU and EASA-authorised operators reads: "Not operate in the airspace of Yemen, Sana'a FIR, at all altitudes and flight levels, except for all routes located in the maritime part of FIR SANAA (OYSC), east of route B400 (included), where operators are recommended to exercise caution at all flight levels". EASA gave its validity as until 30 April 2027, unless reviewed earlier. It replaced CZIB 2017-07 R19 of 12 May 2026; EASA describes the change as: "The validity of the CZIB was extended until 30 April 2027. No changes to the content or recommendations have been made". CZIBs are EASA recommendations to airlines; binding bans come from national authorities or EASA safety directives.
