Ukraine's air force said four jet-powered drones attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast at about 11:00 Kyiv time on 29 October, that three were downed and that the fourth hit Dnipro railway station. Ukrzaliznytsia said the drone struck a platform where passenger train No. 866 Dnipro to Zaporizhzhia was waiting and that people were on the platform despite an air-raid warning. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration head Hanzha said that afternoon that 14 people were killed and 14 injured, six of them seriously, including an 11-year-old boy; on 30 October the Kyiv Independent, citing Hanzha, reported at least 15 killed and at least 14 injured, and the oblast declared 30 October a day of mourning.
