Draft resolution on the referendums in Russian-held parts of Ukraine, submitted by Albania and the United States

Vetoed by Russia. S/2022/720.

Would have condemned the so-called referendums organized by Russia in parts of Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia, declared them invalid as a basis for any change of status including annexation, and demanded that Russia withdraw its forces from Ukraine. Vetoed by Russia.
