Naval drones hit two sanctioned tankers off Turkey; a day later the CPC oil terminal at Novorossiysk is struck

Naval drones struck the Gambian-flagged tankers Kairos and Virat, both under EU and UK sanctions for carrying Russian oil, about 28 and 38 nautical miles off Turkey's coast on 28 November; no crew were hurt. Ukraine's SBU unofficially claimed responsibility. Turkey said the strikes in its exclusive economic zone threatened navigation, life and the environment, and Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called them an outrageous incident. On 29 November naval drones damaged the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal at Novorossiysk, suspending loading; Kazakhstan, which ships most of its exported oil through the terminal, protested to Ukraine.
