Confirmedon an admission by the acting party plus an independent origin: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

The transit agreements signed by Gazprom, Naftogaz and the two countries' operators on 30 December 2019 ran out at the end of 2024, and Ukraine's gas transmission operator said the deal expired at 07:00 Kyiv time on 1 January 2025 (05:00 UTC), with flows from the Sudzha entry point stopping. Gazprom said Ukraine's repeated refusal to extend the agreement left it unable to supply gas for transit. Ukrainian officials had said they would not renew a deal for Russian gas. Slovakia was the main remaining recipient of the route.
