International Energy Agency chief Fatih Birol told the Associated Press on 16 April that Europe had 'maybe six weeks or so' of jet fuel left and that flights could be cancelled soon if supplies through the Strait of Hormuz stayed blocked. He said a recovery to pre-war energy output could take up to two years. KLM and easyJet said that day they were not seeing current fuel shortages, AP reported.
