Andriy Yermak, head of the Presidential Office and leader of Ukraine's delegation at the Geneva talks, resigned on 28 November after the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) searched premises linked to him in its investigation of an alleged kickback scheme at the state nuclear company Energoatom. NABU did not say at the time whether he was a suspect; the energy and justice ministers had already resigned over the case. Yermak was charged with money laundering in a related case in May 2026.
