Confirmedon an admission by the acting party plus an independent origin: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

Russia struck Odesa and the export port of Chornomorsk on successive nights from 18 July, after leaving the grain deal. Ukraine's agriculture minister Mykola Solskyi said the strikes on Chornomorsk destroyed 60,000 tonnes of grain. Russia's defence ministry called the attacks a mass revenge strike for the Crimean Bridge attack, and Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also linked them to the bridge. UN humanitarian coordinator Denise Brown called the attacks on the civilian port of Odesa inhumane. The strikes began weeks of attacks on Ukraine's grain export ports.
