A long-range drone struck the Soniachna Gallereia shopping centre in Kryvyi Rih at about 16:30 on 21 August and a second drone hit the same mall about 30 minutes later, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine said. Ukrainian authorities reported at least 16 civilians killed and 128 injured, including at least 23 children. The mission said it found no military presence at the site and that the double strike strongly suggested the mall was the intended target, adding the attack appeared to breach international humanitarian law.
