A Russian drone attack overnight into 17 November set fire to the Turkish-flagged LPG tanker Orinda at Ukraine's Izmail port on the Danube, about 500 metres from the Romanian village of Plauru. Romanian authorities evacuated 100 to 150 residents; the local mayor said the ship could explode at any moment. The 16 Turkish crew left the vessel unhurt. Romania had repeatedly reported Russian drones entering its airspace or crashing near Plauru.
