Kpler data reported by Reuters via gCaptain showed two commodity vessels, a very large gas carrier and a very large crude carrier, both entering from the Gulf of Oman, crossing the Strait of Hormuz on 24 August, against a 10-day average of 14 and seven on 23 August. Vortexa put that day's oil transits at about 5 million barrels a day and its seven-day average at 6 to 7 million to 23 August. Thirty vessels crossed Bab al-Mandeb, in line with its average. Counts may rise as dark transits are confirmed.
