Confirmedon two or more distinct origins, at least one tied to no party: 2 distinct origins, 2 tied to no party.

Al-Akhbar correspondent Amal Khalil was killed when an Israeli strike hit a house in al-Tiri in southern Lebanon where she and photographer Zeinab Faraj had taken cover after an earlier strike near their car, the paper and Lebanon's information minister said, as reported by AP. The health ministry said two Israeli strikes on al-Tiri killed two people and wounded Faraj, and that Israeli fire on an ambulance stopped rescuers reaching Khalil; civil defence said her body was recovered late that night. The Israeli military said it struck a vehicle and structure after identifying militants posing an immediate threat, denied targeting journalists or blocking rescuers, and said the case was under review.
