Ukraine said a long-range attack before dawn destroyed a Russian air defence system near Yevpatoria in western Crimea, using drones and then Neptune cruise missiles, and President Zelensky called it a very significant achievement. Russia's defence ministry said it shot down 11 drones over the peninsula and did not mention damage. Ukraine also said it hit the patrol ship Sergei Kotov with sea drones; Russia confirmed an attack by five sea drones but said it was repelled. Reuters could not verify footage of the air defence strike.
