Drones strike the Alabuga industrial zone and the Taneco refinery in Tatarstan, over 1,200 km from Ukraine

Reportedon one origin only: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

Drones hit the Alabuga special economic zone at Yelabuga, which reportedly hosts drone production, and the Taneco refinery at Nizhnekamsk in Tatarstan, more than 1,200 km from the border. Local officials said seven people were injured, and Tatarstan leader Rustam Minnikhanov said there was no serious damage; RFE/RL cited Reuters image analysis indicating a primary refining unit at Taneco was struck. There was no official Ukrainian claim, but Ukrainian government sources told RFE/RL the refinery strike was a joint HUR and SBU operation.
