WHO warehouse of frontline medical supplies in Dnipro destroyed after repeated strikes
Reportedon one origin only: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.
A WHO humanitarian warehouse in Dnipro was hit on 3 August and twice more on 7 August, the last strike destroying the building, the UN in Ukraine said on 10 August. Teams had moved 130 of about 300 pallets before it was destroyed, and stock was worth an estimated US$500,000; no casualties were reported. WHO Regional Director Hans Kluge said its loss meant less medicine and capacity to treat the sick and wounded. UN agencies reported repeated strikes on aid warehouses through the summer, including a WFP site in Dnipro in July.
