Two successive Israeli strikes hit a building in Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon on 28 April; the second struck civil defence rescuers who had come to help the wounded, killing five people including three rescue workers and wounding two Lebanese soldiers, Lebanon's health ministry said, as reported by Al Jazeera. Prime Minister Nawaf Salam called it a war crime and President Joseph Aoun said it was the latest in a series of attacks on relief workers. The ministry said at least eight people were killed across Lebanon that day. We saw no IDF statement on this strike.
