EASA issued Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) 2025-01 R3 on 24 July 2026, covering all altitudes / flight levels in the airspace of the Russian Federation west of longitude 60° East: FIR MOSCOW (UUWV), FIR ROSTOV-NA DONU (URRV), FIR SANKT-PETERSBURG (ULLL), FIR YEKATARINBURG (USSV), FIR SAMARA (UWWW). Its first recommendation to EU and EASA-authorised operators reads: "EASA recommends not to operate within the affected airspace of the Russian Federation located west of longitude 60° East at all altitudes and flight levels". EASA gave its validity as until 31 January 2027, unless reviewed earlier. It replaced CZIB 2025-01 R2 of 26 January 2026; EASA describes the change as: "The CZIB validity was extended until 31 January 2027. No changes to the content". CZIBs are EASA recommendations to airlines; binding bans come from national authorities or EASA safety directives.
