Freightos: FBX Asia to US East Coast at a new high of $9,400 per box

Freightos said FBX Asia to US East Coast prices reached a new high of $9,400 per 40ft and Asia to US West Coast about $7,400, while Asia to North Europe fell 8% from about $5,000 and Asia to the Mediterranean 7% from about $6,000. It said hopes of more Hormuz traffic from an Iran-Oman initiative were mostly dashed, leaving Iranian attacks, a US blockade and minimal transits. Freightos also said some container carriers had expanded or restarted Red Sea transits.
