HRMMU recorded 274 civilians killed and 1,763 injured in Ukraine in May, the deadliest month since April 2022, according to its report as cited by the Kyiv Independent. [1][2] An overnight missile attack on Kyiv on 14 May partly collapsed an apartment building, killing at least 24 people including three children, city officials said, and Russia's defence ministry called it a massive retaliatory strike.
